Creation is a Sumingashi ink painting embellished with gold leaf and comes ready to hang or stood up on a flat surface. It is in a float frame, wedged in between two pieces of glass to appreciate the entire piece and textured edges.
Sumingashi is an ancient Japanese art that means “ink-floating” and is the equivalent to marbling. This meditative process uses ink dipped into a tray of water where the ink floats on the surface and spreads as another color is laid on top. Various designs are achieved by blowing air or dragging a tool through the water.

This piece was intended to hang in comfortable, indoor conditions. To best preserve the piece, do not hang in direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, or very dry/humid conditions.
Do not remove from frame repeatedly. This can damage the piece and frame over time.
