American Mosaic: Stories in Color, Clay, and Canvas

I’m excited to share that my art is featured in the Crealdé School of Art’s exhibition “American Mosaic: Stories in Color, Clay, and Canvas”. Thank you Shannon Lindsey for helping curate this show!

It is my first time showing art at Crealdé and with two paintings that sit close to my heart, “From Ashes to Blooms, Seated in Your Strength” and “Growing Towards the Light”. In varying levels of metaphor, these paintings represent that phoenix period of being reborn from the darkness.

I am also grateful for the UCF College of Arts and Humanities Jenkins Scholar internship program for helping me become immersed in the Orlando art community after I made the switch to an art major. Opening night of this show was a beautiful reunion with so many former interns in one place!

The exhibition was on view until May 9th 2026 at Crealdé in the Alice and William Jenkins gallery. It is free to enter, and there is lots more to see too in the adjacent gallery and sculpture garden!
