ABOUT THE EVENT - HOSTED BY TIMUCUA ARTS FOUNDATION
Jazz Series / Live at Timucua: With a revolving cast of Central Florida Jazz All Stars, Jazz Jam is an open-door opportunity for musicians wanting to dig a little deeper and learn a little more. Primary leads include tenor saxophonist Ryan Devlin, pianist Per Danielsson, drummer Gerald Law II, and bassist Thomas Milovac. Each of these musicians is a leader of their own groups with national performance and recording experience. Expect contemporary, relevant, groove-oriented, funky sounds with respect for jazz masters and an ear for the future.
The artist-in-residence for October, Alexis Collum, will be live painting throughout the performance. Her artwork will be available for sale at the end, along with all of the other artwork on exhibition.
